ShadeStar Retractable Awning Systems launched their first site at shadestar.com in February of 2002. This current site which was launched in early 2006 is the third incarnation of this site. This new site features my trademark ease of navigation, a custom photo gallery script (all photos are stored in an SQL database and features a web-based administration panel), and while it is geared toward the dealer of their retractable awnings, all customers of ShadeStar will find this site informative.

Cool Planet Awning Company designs, manufacturers and installs custom awnings nationwide for residential or commercial customers. This site was designed to highlight the unique talents of this organization. With sections focusing on Residential, Commercial, Retractable and Specialty, the visitor can quickly and easily find what they are looking for, while the Photo Gallery shows off a few of the company's many custom projects.

This new design also adds the section "Awnings 101" - an interactive feature designed to educate visitors.
